Core Values:
  • Maximizing the potential of the Ohio State student body by providing the large-scale support yet the freedom necessary to develop successful student-driven initiatives and projects.
  • Enriching the Ohio State educational experience by instilling a passion for philanthropy and community outreach before entering the work force.
  • Give students more opportunities to develop a sense of ownership and responsibility for the welfare and future of the Ohio community.
Pillars for Development and Expansion:
  • Focus 100% on Students

Student Philanthropy: we want to provide the connections, tools, and resources needed to get students involved in creative and ambitious philanthropy.

Student Driven Projects: we also want to connect these creative fundraising efforts with student organized community outreach initiatives, matching student ingenuity with large-scale grants.

  • Seek wide-spread Community Involvement

We will seek involvement from individuals, area corporations, and champion donors to get support in the form of donations (such as an endowment), creative partnerships, and advice to ensure future projects and expansion.

  • Develop our Image

We are launching a campaign to accomplish three main goals: show what students can do, gain credibility to our organization, and advertise our foundation and future projects.

  • What is our Motivation?

We are working hard to do this right: collaborating with all facets of the university system and in doing so, building a solid base of support. Our goal is to do the legwork for future generations of ambitious Buckeyes who want to do something great.

  • Our Future and our Goals

We want to realize the full potential of the student body by starting traditions of involvement.

Our business model involves a board of trustees, comprised of both students and prominent members of the academic and business community to provide oversight, advice, and direction. The details of funding and regulations are formed from a hybrid of successful models (including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) along with some creative adjustments to involve the community at large.
